How checkout totals, payment methods, statement descriptions, refunds, and billing questions work.
The short version
This summary helps you find the rule. The complete policy below controls.
- Review the final amount
- Store prices and checkout totals are in U.S. dollars. A crypto invoice shows the payable asset amount and network before you send funds.
- When payment happens
- The payment provider may capture a card payment before our order record is finalized. We review payment and order status before fulfillment.
- Check your statement name
- For a SellAbroad card payment, expect a SELLABROAD statement description. Your bank may abbreviate or add text. Email us if you do not recognize a charge.
The checkout shows your total and available payment methods before submission. Section 1 identifies Stack Research LLC and explains the card processor’s role.
1. Who you are paying
Stack Research LLC operates stack-research.com and handles customer support and order fulfillment. SellAbroad processes supported card payments as the merchant of record. The payment method available for your order appears at checkout; cryptocurrency payments use a separate NOWPayments invoice.

Business mailing address: 7901 4th St N #29260, St. Petersburg, FL 33702, USA
Email: [email protected]
Support hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, excluding U.S. federal holidays
2. Accepted payment methods
Checkout displays the card, digital-wallet, and cryptocurrency options available for your order. Card availability depends on the provider, your device, and the card issuer. If you choose cryptocurrency, the NOWPayments invoice shows the supported asset and network options for that payment. Do not send funds until you have checked the invoice details.
3. Currency, pricing, and promotions
Store prices and checkout totals are displayed in U.S. dollars. A cryptocurrency invoice shows the amount payable in the selected asset and network. Checkout shows any eligible promotion, shipping, tax, and other charges before submission. Promotion codes, volume pricing, and Stack Builder savings follow their displayed eligibility, limits, and expiry terms; eligible percentage savings do not stack on the same item.
4. Taxes and fees
Checkout displays applicable tax, shipping, and any other charge before you submit the order. Tax depends on the delivery address and applicable law. We do not charge a membership or recurring subscription for a one-time product order.
5. Authorization, acceptance, and when you are charged
Submitting a card payment authorizes the provider to charge the displayed total. The card processor may capture payment before our order record is finalized. We do not promise a separate authorization-only period. We review payment, product and destination eligibility, and any required fraud or compliance checks before fulfillment. If we decline an order after payment is captured, we will arrange a refund through the payment route used, subject to applicable law. Email support if you have a question about the status.
6. What appears on your card statement
For a card payment processed by SellAbroad, SELLABROAD is the expected statement description. Your issuer may abbreviate it or add other text. Other payment routes may display a different description. If you do not recognize a charge, email [email protected] with the amount and date so we can identify the order.
7. Cryptocurrency payments
When you choose Crypto at checkout, NOWPayments opens a hosted invoice showing the asset, network, amount, and payment instructions available for that order. The order is not paid merely because the invoice opens; we wait for the provider’s confirmed payment status. A partial, failed, expired, or wrong-network payment needs individual review. Network and conversion charges may apply. Cryptocurrency transfers cannot be reversed like card charges, and any refund method, amount, and timing depends on the actual payment record, network, and provider process. Email us with the order number and invoice or payment ID if there is a problem.
8. Pricing errors and cancellations
We may correct a pricing error, request verification, limit quantity or destination, or decline an order before fulfillment. Email [email protected] promptly with the order number if you need to request a change or cancellation. We cannot guarantee a change after payment processing or fulfillment begins. If we cancel a paid order before fulfillment, we will arrange a refund through the payment route used. The posted Returns & Refunds Policy covers customer returns and post-delivery claims.
9. Refunds
Eligibility for a refund or replacement is explained in the Returns & Refunds Policy. For an approved card refund, we submit the refund through the card payment provider; your issuer controls when it appears. Cryptocurrency refunds require support review of the original transaction and a usable destination and may involve network or provider charges. We will explain the proposed amount and method before processing a crypto refund. Original shipping charges follow the Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable law.
10. Billing questions and disputes
For a billing question, email [email protected] from the order email address. Include the order number, charge amount, and date, but never send a full card number or security code. We aim to send an initial response within one business day during support hours. You may also contact your card issuer about an unrecognized charge. The Terms & Conditions govern disputes with Stack Research.
11. Payment security
The card processor supplies secure payment fields during checkout. Stack Research does not store full card numbers or card security codes on its own systems. Do not email payment-card details, bank credentials, or identity documents to support.
12. Contact
Send billing questions to [email protected] with your order number. Support hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, excluding U.S. federal holidays. We aim to send an initial response within one business day.
