Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Stack Research LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“Stack Research,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information through this website, research-access verification, member accounts, agreement receipts, documentation requests, support, orders, delivery, claims, and refunds.

2. Information you provide

Depending on the interaction, we may collect your name, email address, optional organization and role, phone number, research category, profile preferences, requested product, quantity or configuration, documentation needs, support details, and correspondence. For an order or claim, we may also collect billing and delivery addresses, authorized-recipient information, order and transaction references, payment status or token, fulfillment and tracking events, item and lot records, support messages, claim photographs, packaging or label images, temperature evidence, and the requested remedy. We do not need or intend to store a full payment-card number when a payment provider can process it. Do not submit patient information, medical records, diagnosis or treatment information, government identification numbers, financial-account credentials, or other unnecessary sensitive personal information.

3. Verification and agreement records

Access and login records may include a normalized email, verification status and method, code or link expiration, resend and attempt state, delivery status, and linked account identifiers. An agreement receipt preserves the exact accepted agreement text and version, three required disclosures, typed initials, document digest, verified email, submitted identity fields, organization details if provided, presentation and acceptance times, the source IP address observed by the application, browser user-agent string, verification method, linked record identifiers, signing-key identifiers, and integrity values. We email a human-readable copy of the agreement record to the verified address. The agreement process does not collect a biometric signature, identity document, or device fingerprint. Email verification is not identity-document, professional-license, institutional-authority, end-use, or legal-permission verification.

4. Information collected automatically

The site uses functional cookies and similar storage for access recognition, authenticated sessions, form security, and preferences. We use Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate site activity such as sessions, pages viewed, referral source, approximate geography, and browser or device category. Google Analytics is configured without Google Signals or advertising-personalization signals.

Cloudflare Turnstile checks protected form submissions for automated abuse. Cloudflare may process browser, device, interaction, and network signals needed for that check. Our integration sends the single-use Turnstile token to Cloudflare for server-side validation, but it does not send the form fields through Turnstile. Stack Research receives the validation result and related security metadata, including the verified hostname, action, time, and any error codes.

Meta Pixel measures visits and shopping activity connected with Meta advertising on eligible public storefront pages. Meta may receive an IP address, browser or device details, referring page, pages viewed, product identifiers, cart and checkout events, order value, currency, and an opaque purchase-event identifier. Stack Research does not enable automatic advanced matching and does not send Meta your name, email, phone number, payment details, research profile, support messages, verification credentials, or order-access key through this integration.

X Pixel measures visits connected with X advertising on eligible public storefront pages. X may receive an IP address, browser or device details, and an X click identifier. Stack Research hides the page location from X. For an eligible purchase attributed to an X click, the X Conversion API may also receive the click identifier, purchase time, order value, item count, and an opaque conversion identifier used to prevent duplicate reporting. The browser and server events use the matching purchase-event configuration. This integration does not send X your name, email, phone number, payment details, product names, research profile, support messages, verification credentials, order number, or order-access key.

Application rate controls may derive a short-lived keyed identifier from a grouped network address. The application stores the raw source IP address and browser user-agent string only in the access and agreement records created when the user signs the current agreement. Hosting, security, analytics, content-delivery, backup, and email providers may also create routine technical logs containing an IP address, time, requested URL, browser or user-agent information, delivery events, and security events.

5. How we use information

We use personal information to verify and administer access; create and secure passwordless accounts; preserve and validate agreement receipts; respond to product, documentation, account, policy, order, delivery, claim, and privacy requests; process an accepted transaction; coordinate payment, fraud review, sourcing, fulfillment, tracking, insurance, returns, refunds, recalls, and safety notices; maintain business and compliance records; detect abuse, fraud, unauthorized access, and diversion; operate, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the site; attribute visits, promotion codes, carts, checkouts, and purchases to campaigns; prevent duplicate conversion reporting; comply with law; establish or defend legal claims; enforce agreements; and send promotional messages only after a separate optional marketing choice.

6. How information is disclosed

We may disclose information to providers performing hosting, content delivery, transactional email, payment processing, fraud prevention, information technology, security, rate limiting, analytics, advertising measurement, backup, document generation, customer support, and professional services; to an authorized supplier, fulfillment provider, carrier, or shipping insurer when reasonably necessary for an inquiry, order, delivery, claim, return, recall, or refund; to advisers, auditors, insurers, regulators, law enforcement, or courts when reasonably necessary or legally required; and in connection with a financing, merger, reorganization, or transfer of business or assets. Providers may use information for the service performed for us or as law permits. We limit order and claim disclosures to the information needed for the task.

7. Advertising measurement and your choice

Stack Research does not sell or rent personal information. Depending on the law that applies to you, Meta Pixel and X Pixel may constitute sharing, targeted advertising, or cross-context behavioral advertising. Advertising measurement is on by default on eligible public storefront pages. You can turn it off for this browser below. Stack Research honors a supported Global Privacy Control signal by keeping advertising measurement off.

Turning measurement off does not affect catalog access, checkout, or support. Meta and X process pixel data under their own terms and privacy policies. Stack Research uses campaign and conversion reports to measure ads, understand which campaigns lead to product interest or purchases, prevent duplicate purchase reporting, and allocate campaign spending. We exclude the private Operations app, account, profile, login, and agreement pages from advertising measurement.

8. Cookies and session duration

The research-access recognition cookie may remain for up to one year unless revoked or removed. A remembered member session may remain for up to one year unless the member logs out, removes cookies, changes a security-sensitive field, or the session is invalidated. Google Analytics first-party cookies may remain for up to two years by default, subject to browser limits and the visitor’s settings. The advertising-measurement choice cookie remains for up to 180 days. Unless measurement is turned off, Meta and X may set or read measurement identifiers under their terms and your browser settings. Stack Research retains an X click identifier for up to 30 days so an eligible purchase can be attributed after X Conversion API activation. Verification codes and sign-in links expire after 10 minutes. Short-term rate-limit records generally expire after approximately one hour. You may decline or remove measurement cookies without affecting core site use; blocking required cookies may prevent verification or account features from working.

9. Transactional and marketing communications

Marketing is off by default. Access verification and consent to electronic records are not marketing consent. Verification codes, agreement records, account-security notices, order confirmations, payment and fraud-review notices, tracking and delivery updates, return or refund messages, recalls or safety notices, and direct support replies are transactional or service communications. If you separately opt in to marketing, covered promotional messages will identify the sender, include the required mailing address and a working opt-out method, and opt-out requests will be honored as required by law. Withdrawing marketing consent does not stop necessary service communications.

10. Retention

We retain a signed Agreement and its core evidence for 10 years after the later of acceptance or the last transaction governed by it. We retain the raw source IP address and browser user-agent string collected with acceptance for 24 months, then delete or irreversibly anonymize those fields. Deleted fields age out of backups within 90 days under the backup schedule. A documented legal hold, fraud investigation, dispute, or longer legal duty may preserve only the affected records for longer. Short-lived verification codes and rate-control records expire automatically. Other account, inquiry, order, delivery, claim, support, and security records are kept only for the period reasonably necessary for their stated purpose and applicable duties. Account closure does not shorten an active retention period or legal hold.

11. Your choices and privacy requests

Members can update profile information and optional marketing preference in the account area. You may request access to or a copy of information, correction, account closure, or deletion by emailing support@stack-research.com. We may verify the request through the email connected to the records and may retain information that law permits or requires. Depending on your residence and applicable thresholds, you may have additional rights, including appeal or use of an authorized agent. We will not unlawfully discriminate for exercising an applicable privacy right.

12. Security and incidents

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the nature of the information and service, including access controls, email verification, limited administrative capabilities, production transport security, rate controls, private record types, backups, and integrity checks for agreement receipts. No system is completely secure. Contact us immediately if you believe an account or record has been compromised. We will assess and provide legally required incident notices based on the affected information and jurisdiction.

13. Age and research context

The research-access process is intended only for people age 21 or older acting in a professional research capacity. Providing an organization is optional. The site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21 through that process.

14. United States processing

Stack Research LLC is organized in Wyoming and uses the Florida address below as its mailing address. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where providers operate, subject to applicable law and safeguards.

15. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the site, providers, operations, or legal requirements. The updated version will state a new effective date. If a change materially affects an existing choice or requires new consent, we will provide an appropriate notice or request before applying it as required.
